Do read the description, because it will give you a pretty good idea of the values and objectives of craftsvilla. Their "dedicated to support social cause for the upliftment of artisans, craftsmen and craftswomen who have preserved our rich and diverse heritage and are now finding it difficult to sustain it" tempted me to check out their entire site, one product at a time. I should warn you in advance, once you have visited their site, you will not be able to leave without making a purchase. That shouldn't be much of a problem because their prices are amazing too. You can get some of the most gorgeous items for less than 1K. Sounds hard to believe, doesn't it? A grand is peanuts for the exclusive, unique item you will get. There are so many products I'd love to show you, but I am going to stick to posting the products on my wish-list.

Pair this with a solid-colored kurta and patiala, a pair of chunky metal earrings, kohl-lined eyes, loads of sunscreen (a must!!) and I am good to go this summer.

This dress, worn with strappy sandals would be perfect for a day out in the summer heat.

This is one thing I am never gonna buy. If I have something this delicious looking lying in my washroom cabinet, I am sure I would be tempted to eat it. I am a sucker for anything fruity.

You should visit their facebook page where they regularly post updates and answer all queries and requests. Their customer service is so prompt with the replies, it's almost unbelievable. I have had first hand experience with that. Haven't I raved on for too long now? Time for you to go check the awesome-ness yourself.

It's been a long time. It's almost been a year and a half since I last posted. Things have changed, life has dealt me some pretty random cards but my love for everything handmade is still going strong. My etsy-love still remains, though some of it is being replaced by handmade products from India. Whenever I visit a city, I make sure I pick a few pieces crafted by the local artisans. That way, not only do I get to pick up a unique piece, I also save a lot on shipping costs and end up helping, in my own humble capacity, these local comminities of uber-talented workers.

Now, I am back to introduce you to many more such awesome hand-crafted lovelies from the internet. But this time, I am not going to restrict my posts to etsy. There are many more great store out there in the virtual world, and they deserve to be shopped at!

For starters, we are going to stick to etsy for this one post because there are so many beautiful earring I want to show you. I have developed a thing for metal earrings and I want to share some of these beauties with you.

I would have clicked a pic or two of the necklace i received to post it on here, but my camera broke and well, its a long story, but take my word for it, their work is even more stunning in person. I began making sugar skulls about three years ago to give to family and friends and to sell at craft fairs. Having lived my entire life in the American Southwest, i find a lot of inspiration in American Indian beading and weaving designs, and from the color and flamboyance of the Mexican-Chicano culture out of which sugar skulls (also known as calaveras) are based. I decided to open my very own etsy shop after hearing from other sellers about how fun the atmosphere is. I've not been disappointed! Currently my shop only carries sugar skull ornaments, but i'm working on a line of skull-and-crossbones ornaments, shrunken head ornaments, and sugar skull accessories. my skulls are all one-of-a-kind and i never use a pattern or the same design twice. They go on clearance, brand new, for like $1.35 so I couldn't help but buy them all. Now I'm cutting them up and stitching them with hemp to make really cute bracelet cuffs. It's fairly new and I have a lot more work to do on it but, I'm so excited about this new chapter of my life.

I have a tendency to design with bold geometric shape with I think comes from my love of mid-century modern style. Mainly my designs are simple, colorful and fun. This is truly my passion in life designing and photography creating images and memory that will last forever. Once that moment is gone you have lost it forever but, one image of that second in your life can be capture and keep through photographs and designing beautiful scrapbooking pages for your family's heirloom to past down through generations.

" Beads, beads, beads! It all started when a friend introduced me to jewelery making. We worked as Arts and Crafts specialists at a camp and I noticed that she used these really pretty Japanese Square beads to make earrings (which you can see in some of the earrings I've made). She introduced me to the store where she got it in and the rest is history.

Four years later, I have a career as a teacher but I always find the time to create earrings that are cute and pretty.

Other than working with the lovely beads I happen to find I am also trying my hand at wire work. I am only making earrings for

now but every so often there may be some other type of jewelry for sale! "

" Two years ago for my Daughters birthday- I was looking for safe, imaginative, toys. It was really difficult to be sure the items I found in stores were REALLY safe. So- I commissioned my Father to build a kitchen set from solid wood, (immediately upon it's completion it was painted pink) and there began my obsession with felt.

All of the patterns I make are inspired by my children and everyday life.

We believe that your home should be as stylish and beautiful as it can possibly be, and we also think that having a clean, green environment is pretty damned important too. To that end we set out to make home wares that have as little environmental impact as possible, that are made to last forever but do not compromise in any way on look and style. What fun is being green if it has to be ugly?

All of the fabrics that we use are sourced from local charity and thrift stores, from clothes that would have been thrown away or sold as rags because they were damaged. Because of this, every item that we produce is unique and cannot be replicated. It is yours and yours alone!

" Creating has always been so much a part of my life, so ingrained, that I honestly have no idea when it began. For as long as I can remember I have been inventing and designing and creating. I've gone through phases where I try to pretend that I don't need to craft, but in the end I always go back to the inevitable truth that making things makes me happy.

At some point I started thinking about a time, years ago, when I had made a rose out of Play Dough. After some trial and error I figured out how I did it. I began to realize that I enjoyed working with clay more than most mediums. By Christmas my sales had increased enough that I started to consider making FancifulForm my full-time career."

" I grew up as an only child, and since both my parents worked pretty long hours, and very often brought work back home, I guess I became adept to using my imagination a lot and always fabricating quirky little scenarios in my head. I started painting very early during my childhood, and I especially loved (and still do) Andersen's tales and Carroll's Alice books.

I enjoy painting girls of unspecified age, that look girly and serious at the same time. I was always fascinated with what may be hiding behind a phenomenally simple expression, what story might that person tell if he/she was given the chance...I like making up quirky scenarios about their life, but in the end it's always them that make me go one way or another.

My influences consist mostly of Flemish painters and graphic novel artists, such as Michael Zulli, Simon Bisley, and John Bolton in particular. Neil Gaiman's The Sandman Series, (actually anything by the man is inspiring), Blythe dolls, Tim Burton's movies, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Lewis Carroll's and Andersen's book, the Grimm Brothers. Anything sweet and enigmatic at the same time. But really, if an image swims around my head for days, the inspiration for it could be anything...sometimes it's a dream I just had and that's why I always keep a sketchbook by my bed!"
